FOIA 22-16560-F requested any and all photographs of Aretha Franklin, including images where she is depicted and also captured in the metadata.  

This FOIA primarily contains photographs of Aretha Franklin performing at the U.S. Capitol during the 2009 Inaugural on January 20, 2009; the dedication ceremony for the Martin Luther King, Jr., National Memorial in Washington, DC, on October, 16, 2011; the National Christmas Tree lighting on the Ellipse in Washington, DC, on December 6, 2013; the “Women of Soul: In Performance at the White House” event in the East Room on March 6, 2014; the portrait unveiling ceremony for Attorney General Eric H. Holder, Jr., at the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, DC, on February 27, 2015; "The Gospel Tradition: In Performance at the White House" event in the East Room on April 14, 2015; and the International Jazz Day concert on the South Lawn on April 29, 2016.  There are photos from the Kennedy Center Honors Reception in the Blue Room on December 2, 2012, December 6, 2015, and December 4, 2016; and from the dinner honoring the 2013 Presidential Medal of Freedom awardees at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C., on  November 20, 2013.  There are also photos of President Obama greeting Aretha Franklin backstage at the Detroit Labor Day celebration in the General Motors lot adjacent to the Renaissance Center in Detroit, Michigan, on September 5, 2011, and President Obama greeting artists and winners of the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition, along with Herbie Hancock and Aretha Franklin, in the Oval Office on September 13, 2011.
