This FOIA primarily contains photographs from May 1, 2011, of President Obama participating in a series of meetings in the Situation Room and delivering a statement in the in the East Room following the mission against Osama bin Laden; and of people gathering outside the White House after the President’s statement. Photographs from May 2, 2011, include President Obama awarding the Medal of Honor posthumously to Private First Class Anthony T. Kaho'ohanohano, U.S. Army, and Private First Class Henry Svehla, U.S. Army, during a ceremony in the East Room; First Lady Michelle Obama hosting kids from local elementary schools celebrating Run Across America and Let's Move on the South Lawn; President Obama talking on the phone with foreign leaders; and President Obama delivering remarks during a dinner with chairmen and ranking Members of Congress in the East Room.
