FOIA 23-42501-F requested all photos and videos from the trip to Copenhagen, Denmark, on October 3, 2009.

This FOIA primarily contains photographs of President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama participating in a presentation to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in support of Chicago as the host city for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games, as well as attending a meet-and-greet with presenters and with IOC members, all at the Bella Center.  There are photos of President and Mrs. Obama visiting with Queen Margrethe II and HRH Prince Consort Henrik at Christiansborg Palace; Mrs. Obama taking a tour of the Palace; and President Obama meeting with Prime Minister Lars Rasmussen at the Palace.  There are also arrival and departure photos in Copenhagen along with and of President Obama meeting with General McChrystal aboard Air Force One.  Audiovisual records proposed for opening includes video footage of the Chicago 2016 Presentation, the President’s movements at Bella Center, pool spray of the President’s meeting with Prime Minister Rasmussen, and arrivals and departures in Copenhagen.

The Executive Office of the President (EOP) instance of the Electronic Records Archive (ERA) contains electronic records created or received by Obama administration staff. These records are stored in Search and Access Sets (SAS) that represent their originating computer program, such as Exchange Email or the Worker and Visitor Entry System (WAVES). In addition to records captured from the White House’s electronic systems, EOP-ERA also contains records from the home and shared drives used by White House staff.

White House Communications Agency records are processed at the folder/videotape level. While this method maintains folder/videotape integrity, it frequently results in the incidental processing of videotapes that are not wholly responsive to the subject area.
